Something seemed odd in the world of dating. Well at least to us it did.
Humans were spending hours online in search of prospective dates, exchanging
loads of emails, looking for spare time (in already packed
calendars), and then finding a public place to meet.
All that effort. And many times they'd end up realizing that there was
zero chemistry in the first place. Why, we wondered, did things have to be this way.
Because the simple reality is we human beings have always done it
the other way round. It starts when we see someone and get an excited feeling
because we're attracted to them. Then we start a conversation (or at least try to)
and, if we're lucky, we get the chance to get to
know them - over a period of time.
Yet we all walk around with mobile phones (read "little computers") in our pockets
and most of us live in large cities surrounded by millions of
people. Surely single people see someone they fancy every other day ... but just
have no easy way to meet them.
As it turned out, figuring that out was the easy part. Crafting a solution that
would work for a real human being proved a much more difficult challenge.
For 3 long years we looked, listened, tested and anlyzed. But most of all we learned. And after a
